Welcome to Northmoor Edison Primary School
 Welcome to Northmoor-Edison Primary School! We are glad you have chosen to visit our site and hope that it will provide you with useful information. We offer a unique curriculum with a focus on technology and the fine arts. Please click on the Edison Schools link to learn more about the Edison program and curriculum. If at any time you would like a tour of our school, please do not hesitate to call us! We do tours daily and would love to have you. Northmoor Edison, a 4-Star Edison School!
First of all, let me say THANK YOU so very much for the very generous donations to the students of Liberia. We are so excited to report that our school donated multiple large boxes overflowing with books! You and your children have touched our hearts once again and on behalf of the children of Liberia I thank you so very much for your love and support.
Can you believe this school year is drawing to a close so quickly? It is hard to believe and we have truly enjoyed working with you and your child this year. As we prepare for next year, we are again attaching a copy of the District #150 2008-2009 school calendar. Please keep this in a safe place. If you have not yet visited our FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER outside of the library, please go down and help yourself to many goodies! On the wall you will find student handbooks, latchkey handbooks and applications, school supply lists, items by grade level and more! Just a reminder that I do not take requests for classroom teachers. I simply cannot accommodate everyone’s request and I believe all of our teachers are dynamic.
As we prepare for next year, Kindergarten Welcome Day will be held on Monday, August 25. This is the day that we will also post class lists on the front doors. You can expect to receive a mailing from the school with important back to school information the week of August 18th. Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 26 from 7:45 – 10:45. Our first full day of school is Wednesday, August 27. We are looking forward to another great year with you! Have a fantastic summer! Office hours during the summer are on Wednesdays and Friday from 10:00 – Noon. Mrs. Bladel will be working in the office and able to help you!
